Twenty-four hours of tense, highly competitive driving flat-out. That’s the CHALLENGE OF 24 Heures du Mans (24 HOURS OF LE MANS), which is why it’s universally regarded as one of the world’s toughest motor races. Rain or shine, day or night, there’s no let-up for the drivers; they drive every single lap on the limit.

First held in 1923, The 24 Heures du Mans , the greatest of all motor sport endurance races, has always been won by the team demonstrating the finest combination of endurance, reliability and speed in their vehicle, together with personal passion, determination and stamina. Legendary in its own right, the race has made icons of cars and drivers. IN RECOGNITION OF THE ELEVATED STANDING OF THE RACE, ROLEX HAS BEEN THE OFFICIAL TIMEPIECE OF The 24 Heures du Mans SINCE 2001.

Having clocked up nine victories at The 24 Heures du Mans between 1997 and 2013 – including six consecutive from 2000 to 2005 – the Danish racing driver Tom Kristensen holds the record number of wins at the oldest endurance race in the world. An emblematic figure in the sport noted for his consumate professionalism and dedication, Kristensen is a Rolex Testimonee. Following retirement from professional racing at the end of 2014, he will perform the role of Grand Marshal at the start of the 2015 race leading cars around the circuit on their warm up lap.

This year’s 83rd edition will take place on 13-14 June. The line-up of manufacturers and drivers is always impressive. Stiff competition in the principal LM P1 class will be provided by some of the sport’s great manufacturers: Audi has dominated the modern age at Le Mans winning 13 of the last 16 races; Porsche returned to Le Mans in 2014 after a 14-year hiatus and still holds the record number of victories at the event: 16; Toyota is raising its game year after year; Nissan is the new entry in 2015 and determined to make an impression. The defending champion is the Audi team of Marcel Fässler (SUI), ANDRE LOTTERER (GER) and Benoît Tréluyer (FRA).

The pursuit of excellence, a passion for the enduring and a sense of tradition are the core values of the classic car scene. These ideals are in abundance each August on California’s Monterey Peninsula, as the region is transformed into a hub of vintage automobile excellence for the Monterey Classic Car Week.

Several events join together to create the week, but there are four that stand head and shoulders above the rest as benchmarks. The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is the ultimate litmus test for true preservation and precise restoration of the world’s most elegant and historic vehicles.

The Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance presented by Rolex provides a showcase for those same Concours cars to demonstrate their magnificence in motion.

The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering has dedicated itself to bringing together the most inspiring cars and motorcycles in an exclusive garden party environment.

The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion offers an alternative expression of automotive art, with a weekend of wheel-to-wheel action.
Individually, EACH OF THE FOUR EVENTS provides a genuine opportunity to revel in passion for the past; together they form an index for those who truly appreciate the virtues of the classic car. Rolex has been deeply involved in the Monterey Classic Car Week since 1997 and shares the values of those that inspire this point of reference in the automotive world.

The Goodwood Revival is a step back in time, a chance to relive a glorious period in motor sport at an authentic motor racing circuit that has retained its look and feel from the 1960s. The three-day event is held in the United Kingdom over a mid-September weekend each year, and has become a pilgrimage for those passionate about historic car racing. First organized in 1998, Rolex has been involved in the Revival since 2003.

Over its SEVENTEEN years, the Goodwood Revival has developed into a prestigious classic car rendezvous that attracts top drivers from across the globe to race in some of the most exquisite historic racing machinery from 1948-1966, a golden era in motor sport. The crowds drawn each year reflect the organizer’s adherence to period detail: the majority of visitors go to great lengths to dress in appropriate clothing, no modern vehicles are allowed within the circuit perimeter to disrupt the unique ambiance and beautifully crafted theatrical sets help bring the past back to life.
